Our Families do not pay tuition for a student to attend online school.
Many students are not ready to go to university after completion of their high schooling, they take a gap year, complete a Higher certificate at a college to obtain a NQF5, do an internship or even travel abroad to get work experience. Some students even choose to study at varsity later in life as over the age of 23 you qualify by age and do not require a university exemption to study further, you will be required to do a single entry level module together with your University degree.
SAQA has evaluated GED and found the Adult Matric as its closest comparable qualification. It is internationally recognized as a high school leavers equivalent, or NQF4 equivalent in South Africa as evaluated by SAQA. After completion many of our students go on to study further towards a Higher certificate, NQF5, Diploma or Degree, some travel others go into the workforce.
Students need to complete a year end examination (Test series) and pass with 72.5% to obtain the certificate.
The American High School Diploma has been evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) as being comparable to National Senior Certificate at NQF 4. Obtain your Matric High School Certificate with The AHS Hons Diploma is recognised by USAf with all Universities and colleges in South Africa to study further. This is a gold standard school leaving option with a quality personalized and customized education like no other!

HybridAcademy.org Bursary programme offers full and partial scholarships for parents that require financial
assistance on the curriculum. This allows for financial support to students that would like to complete their high schooling with our Academy. Funding through donations and philanthropy increases support for the programme as donors invest in these students future. Students on the scholarships need to maintain academic performance to continue receiving the benefit of these scholarships. These scholarships helps students and their families to manage their educational needs.

Hester created Hybrid Academy to ensure Inclusive education for students that prefer an alternative to mainstream schooling in South Africa with a main focus on Neurodiversity. She runs her own learning centre in Mosselbay and frequently holds talks around South Africa to support educators at community learning centres with the aim at increasing the Matric pass rate in their communities.
